Over the past few years, our work with The Cannabis Nurses + Co has grown beyond cannabis education alone — expanding into a fuller vision of holistic, personalized care that supports the endocannabinoid system and overall wellness. Our new name better reflects the heart of what we do and the broader journey we're taking with you.

You may be asking - Why the Change?

We wanted a name that reflects all aspects of the work we do — education, advocacy, wellness, and connection — while still honoring our expertise in cannabis care and the endocannabinoid system. As heartbreaking as it is to let go of the deeply rooted identity that we've established with TCN + Co (and as much as we want to continue to destigmatize cannabis by including it in our title), removing the word offers some HUGE benefits for us accessing benefits for our clients and eliminating a lot of barriers while we continue to navigate this industry as ethically as possible. 

Here’s what’s important to know:

  • Same People, Same Care: You’ll still be working with the same trusted team — managing partners Kala Sanmartin and Heather Wilkinson, and our growing network of dedicated holistic cannabis nurses and other health practitioners. 

  • Expanded Vision: Vital Holistic Care will continue offering the same 1:1 support, courses, group education, and Veteran services you’ve come to rely on — but we will also be working on growing new programs and offerings to better suit your needs.

  • No Action Required: Our new website domain is www.vitalholisticcare.ca, but don’t worry — even if you search The Cannabis Nurses + Co, you’ll still be directed to the right place automatically. Our email domain will change to @vitalholisticcare.ca, however your client records, services, and support will remain completely uninterrupted.

 FAQs

  • Nothing changes in terms of your care, services, or level of support being provided to you. You’ll continue working with the same nurse, and all your appointments, packages, and access remain seamless, with the sole difference being the change in name and email address! If you are paying for services via email transfer, the email used will change, however your invoices will reflect the change to help us avoid any errors!

  • Absolutely. Cannabis education and ECS wellness remain core pillars of our practice — they’re just part of a broader, more holistic approach now. We will also be looking to expand our service offerings with this new name change! Stay tuned.

  • No action needed from you! All links, records, payment systems will automatically transition to align with Vital Holistic Care branding.

  • We have kept our original “The Cannabis Nurses + Co” website and have simply updated the domain to www.vitalholisticcare.ca. If you visit our old website, you’ll be redirected automatically. Our emails will also update, but any messages sent to our old addresses will still reach us during the transition.

  • Yes! We’re excited to expand our offerings to include even more programs and support focused on whole-person health, meaningful leisure, and holistic wellness — join our newsletter or follow our social media accounts to receive all announcements!

  • We are implementing the rebrand gradually over the coming months to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for all our clients. You’ll continue to see both names referenced during this time. You will actually always see “The Cannabis Nurses + Co” powered by Vital Holistic Care — it was very important to us to maintain the identity that we have created through our education and other intellectual property.
